After this vibrating plate step, we undone the layout to verify the effect on the units deep joints. We found about 90% of the units had cracked in their deep joints. We forecasted this ; in fact, all these cobbles are now perfectly interlocked...
Minor chipping occured less than 4 times over 85 sq.ft. : hardly detectable - it is an antique looking pavement !
